I’m Erin and the artist behind Erin Tetterton Photography.

I love pretty details as much as the next person, but where I really get lost is in the story. I believe marriage is important, which is why I love weddings. It’s a becoming. A way to experience grace, love, and forgiveness as both a verb & noun. Being a bride & wife before I was a photographer allowed me to have the profound experience of looking back at our engagement and wedding photos from the beginning of our story, allowing them to fuel those early hopes and dreams and sustain the courage and strength to always see our story through.

I met my husband Todd in early 2009 and we married later that year ahead of a move for his career. I had always been a career woman myself but our move took me far away from everything I knew to a town where my industry didn’t exist. Daytime TV didn’t suit me for long, so I signed up for a few art classes. Mostly painting, drawing, & sculpture at first. It was here that my art began to tell a story. Some tell stories with words, but I believe artists were sent to tell stories for those who must see to believe. It was OUR love story…the story of becoming a wife and moving across the country with the person my soul needed most. Those few classes turned into a bachelor’s degree in art.

In addition to loving art and marriage, I also love polka dots, deep conversations, architecture, red wine, hand-written letters, and complaining about winter.

You have invested so much in getting to know your future spouse, preparing for parenthood, and becoming the family you are today. As your photographer, I want to step in & help time stand still, to preserve these moments in a tangible way, and to save these experiences for the times when you need them most. Photography is more than just a pictures, it’s a real way to tell the story of your life, your love, and your legacy.

I believe in investing the time to get to know my clients. I want to know that we’re the best possible fit before officially booking…..and frankly, I don’t think you deserve anything less.
