Harper & Yuri selected Yards Park in Washington DC as the location for their Washington DC Engagement Session. The warehouses and bridge in Yards Park made for a dramatic backdrop for this early sunrise session. The sunrises early in July in Washington DC, but also provides a needed and delightful break from the summer heat.
This particular warehouse is a favorite of mine. The windows read blue and the patterns in them almost organic make for a beautiful contrast against the rid brick exterior of this building.
I can still hear Harper & Yuri laughing with each other. It’s fun to watch couples interact with each other and see first hand what brought them together. Without a doubt sense of humor was a huge factor for these two!

Harper new Yuri wanted a non-traditional setting and chose this radial setting with a round center stone and blue sapphires on the sides. Stay tuned for images from their wedding day!
Hi I’m Erin and the artist behind Erin Tetterton Photography. Welcome to the photographic THE ARCHIVES.
I believe our lives are divine orchestrations. We each have a story and I believe they are stories that deserve to be told and told well. From Weddings, to Babies, and to celebrate the years we are just glad to have behind us. The photos I take are the images that tell the story. Your own history. Your family’s history. ….and the history of those generations that are to come.
My goal is to create authentic, timeless imagery that accurately depicts each phase of your life. Those phases will be different, unique, and beautiful. Inject humor! Do them in a place you love!
