This Billy Goat Trail engagement session absolutely stole my heart!  Molly & Ben are avid cyclists and when they met, neither of them owned a car.  Yet they spent much of their time cycling up to the Great Falls area from DC for picnics, camping, and  just to get away from the city while they were dating.  When doing an engagement session, they knew that Great Falls and specifically Billy Goat Trail was going to be just right for them.

It was an early fall morning, when I met up with these two love birds and the crisp fall air with a little bit of fog rising from the canal added so much to Molly & Ben’s Billy Goat Trail engagement session.

Although my family loves hiking and we had been to Great Falls many times, this was my first time to Billy Goat trail….bu certainly not my last.

Maryland does fall right, and if you really want to see all of the fall foliage in all of its glory during your engagement session, you will definitely want to head out to Great Falls.

Great Falls and the area around Billy Goat Trail are perfect for an engagement session with lots of variety in terrain and loads of trees turning yellow, orange, and red.
