Classic & elegant touches made Anneke & Chip’s Dahlgren Chapel wedding at the University of Georgetown in Washington DC absolutely unforgettable.
The bride and groom chose a neutral color palette of green, greys, & creams. The invitations were engraved on cream colored paper, lending them the most luxurious feel and echoing classic luxury.
The custom designed wedding bands and engagement rings were designed and crafted by Alexandria & Co and displayed in their navy blue Bark & Berry Box.
Few wedding venues in Washington DC are more quintessential than The Hay Adams. The bridal suite offers sweeping views of the White House, the Eisenhower Office Building, and the monuments beyond.

Whites, creams, & greenery made up the table settings and continued the classic elegance of the wedding day itself.
Matchbooks & boxes are quickly becoming one of the favorite wedding favors. Anneke & Chip chose to put their wedding date on one side and their mutual birthday, which was also the day they met on the other side of the match boxes.
Obscure Information: Did you know a person who collects matchbooks is called a phillumenist?
The cake by Buttercream Bakeshop was spectacular with accents in grey & gold and flavors including fun-fetti and red velvet.
Absolutely no Top of the Hay wedding reception is complete without this photo! The bride & groom popped out on the balcony despite a little lingering rain in the area.

Hi I’m Erin and the artist behind Erin Tetterton Photography. Welcome to the photographic THE ARCHIVES.
I believe our lives are divine orchestrations. We each have a story and I believe they are stories that deserve to be told and told well. From Weddings, to Babies, and to celebrate the years we are just glad to have behind us. The photos I take are the images that tell the story. Your own history. Your family’s history. ….and the history of those generations that are to come.
My goal is to create authentic, timeless imagery that accurately depicts each phase of your life. Those phases will be different, unique, and beautiful. Inject humor! Do them in a place you love!
