Flower Crown Party | Petals by the Shore
It’s that time of year again when Kelly Shore of Petals by the Shore hosts her 3rd Annual Flower Crown Party in conjunction with American Flowers Week. This year Kelly will not only be teaching how to make your own flower crown, but also adding instruction on making your own botanical jewelry featuring locally grown Maryland flowers at M & M Plants’ greenhouse in Dickerson, MD
Maryland has a number of incredible local flower farms, which are an excellent source for a wide variety of some of the areas freshest flowers.
Learning how to make your own flower crown starts with selecting your own bouquet of locally grown flowers.
The Flower Crown workshop featured a wide array of flowers and greenery in an numerous colors and textures. Personally I’ve always been a HUGE fan of zinnias.
Tools and supplies for making your own DIY flower crown are also on hand for you to borrow.
Check out those blackberries still green on the vine about to make an appearance in a brand new flower crown.
We also enjoyed a a tour of M & M Plants flowers farm.
