When planning a Leesburg wedding, 48 Fields is a must see venue! Rachel & Rick absolutely fell in love with the laid back feeling of the venue and knew it would be the perfect vibe for their fall wedding.
48 Fields is an incredible venue for styling! The newly remodeled farm house is available for getting ready and was designed with photography in mind. The small living room downstairs contains a rustic wood coffee table, which made the perfect backdrop for styling invitations and other bridal details. The bride wanted to make sure I included the cork from the bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne, which will come up again later.
You may remember this three stone sapphire and diamond ring from Rachel & Rick’s winter engagement session at Great Falls, MD. It’s amazing how different a ring can look when styled different ways.
Lark Floral STUNNED with this highly textured fall wedding bouquet full of fall colors. Kari Schriever, the owner of Lark Floral is an absolute genius when it comes to using texture in her bridal bouquets.
The bridal suite in the farm house at 48 Fields is bright and cheery and filled with light!
Rachel chose a delicate lace wedding dress with a low back and plunging neckline, which she paired with a pair of Adrianna Papell’s lace pumps.
I love finding reflections! ….and this bridal portrait with the reflection in the mirror is one of the favorites.
This Daddy/Daughter first look was so much fun! The reflection of the bride in the mirror and mom peeking around the corner making it extra special.
….and as promised, the bottle of Dom did make another cameo appearance. I’m certain this is a moment that will be legendary.
Rachel and Rick’s first look was one of the more emotional ones I’ve seen. I love the way they love each other, but Rick in particular melted when he saw Rachel for the first time on their wedding day. It reminds me a little of their engagement photos from Great Falls.
One of Rachel & Rick’s personal traditions is exchanging two cards instead of one when they exchange cards. One funny card and one sweet card.
There is nothing like a fall wedding in Leesburg, and sunset was perfect on their wedding day as it began setting behind the barn.
Rachel & Rick chose to have their ceremony in the side yard between the barn and the farm house.
The floral arch built by Lark Floral was a stunner! And employed similar blooms to the ones from Rachel’s bouquet in a palette of burgundy, pinks, & green
This moment with all three groomsmen coming out of the barn with the groom just peeking around the corner is one of the favorite candid wedding photos from the day.
Rachel was escorted down the aisle by her father, while Rick waited. The first look took nothing away from the emotion of their moment.
The Leesburg countryside is the perfect backdrop for wedding photos. We popped back out for a few more pics just as the sun began to sink down and the party really got started.
Cocktail Hour was held downstairs and featured a his & hers sangria, while the reception and dancing where held upstairs in the loft.
I love the twinkle lights in the barn loft with Rachel and Rick sharing their first dance before being joined by friends and family on the dance floor.
The Shoe Game remains one of my favorite wedding traditions. I learn so much about the bride and groom when they play….and even they may learn something about each other.

Hi I’m Erin and the artist behind Erin Tetterton Photography. Welcome to the photographic THE ARCHIVES.
I believe our lives are divine orchestrations. We each have a story and I believe they are stories that deserve to be told and told well. From Weddings, to Babies, and to celebrate the years we are just glad to have behind us. The photos I take are the images that tell the story. Your own history. Your family’s history. ….and the history of those generations that are to come.
My goal is to create authentic, timeless imagery that accurately depicts each phase of your life. Those phases will be different, unique, and beautiful. Inject humor! Do them in a place you love!
